Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership is seeking an Event Security Officer for part-time roles in Toronto during major sports and entertainment events. You will enforce security standards at MLSE venues while delivering professional fan service and support to attendees.

The ideal candidate is 18+ with a valid Security License (Bill C-159) and a Smart Serve certificate within the last 4 years. First-Aid/CPR training is a plus, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Security License (Bill C-159) required.
• Smart Serve Certificate within the last 4 years required.
• First-Aid/CPR training is an asset.
• Friendly, diplomatic, and outgoing attitude with strong communication.
• Able to work shifts including weekdays as early as 4:30 pm, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver championship fan service while maintaining high security standards during events.
• Provide professional, diplomatic and pro-active fan service.
• Report, evaluate and follow up on incidents.
• Conduct bag and identification checks.
• Assist in emergencies including evacuation and injury.
• Communicate positively and professionally with co-workers and fans.
