Job description

We are seeking Event Security Dispatchers for the Edmonton area.

Rate of pay : $21.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to) :

• Write and review incident reports.
• Coach, train, and mentor team members effectively.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites to ensure security and safety.
• Work where liquor is sold and obtain AGLC certification for liquor legislation and enforcement.
• Provide excellent customer service while minimizing risks to client property and assets.
• Communicate well with emergency and law enforcement agencies.
• Handle high-stress environments involving clients and management.
• Multitask efficiently.
• Use CCTV software and 2-way radios proficiently.
• Communicate effectively via radios, phones, and communication software.

Qualifications :

• Valid Alberta Security License.
• Minimum of 3 years' dispatching or event command experience.
• Open availability from April 1 to September 1, 2025, between 3 pm and midnight.
• Complete AGLC certification for Protect and Proserve.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• ICS 100-200-400 certifications are assets.
• Additional relevant certifications are assets.
