Join our dynamic team as an Event Specialist, managing inbound business inquiries and ensuring seamless event experiences. Guide clients through the event cycle with attention to detail, using tools like Delphi and Social Tables to share accurate information. The Day to Day:
- Network and build relationships with new and current clients
- Communicate with clients, gather event details, prepare packages, and send confirmation details
- Use sales tools to close leads, including proposals, site tours, and planning meetings
- Follow up post-events to generate new bookings and opportunities
- Provide superior customer service through client feedback and repeat events
- Pay close attention to details and ask important questions during event planning
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for BEOs and respond promptly to client requests
- Contribute to the annual sales targets, produce accurate forecasts, and speak to business generated
- Share ideas and collaborate with team members to meet venue goals
- Identify promising business opportunities and present them to management for negotiation
- Anticipate operational and kitchen needs
- Maintain a positive attitude towards work, team, and company
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience coordinating and selling various events
- Understanding of equipment and event rentals
- Administrative experience with marketing and sales exposure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sales ability
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
