Experience
- 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a related high-volume sales role.
- Experience working in hospitality, nightlife, or restaurant/event sales preferred.
- Previous leadership or management experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of the Toronto hospitality and events scene.
About the Role
This is a high-energy, high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for booking events across Honeycomb’s venues. You’ll handle a bountiful amount of inbound inquiries while ensuring your team keeps up the momentum. From corporate galas to weddings and private dining, you’ll be the first point of contact, locking in deals before handing them off to the venue’s General Manager and team to execute.
Main responsibilities include:
- Proactively sell and close event bookings across all venues.
- Manage and convert a high volume of inbound leads.
- Oversee and lead a small team focused on outbound and inbound event sales.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize event revenue.
- Maintain a strong presence in the market to identify new business opportunities.
- Track and report on key sales metrics to optimize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams at venues to ensure seamless handoff of confirmed events to venue management.
