This role involves maximizing revenue while providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with venue teams. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and experience in sales or event planning.
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Event Technology team by selling equipment and services for events of all sizes, with a particular focus on events generating less than $5K in revenue. The role includes completing sales order entries, supporting sales activities, and providing general sales administration support such as order entry, opportunity management, billing, and customer follow-up. The position reports to the Sales Director or Director of Event Technology.

Work is performed in a hotel or convention center environment, with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, and dust. Conditions may range from quiet to noisy. Team members will operate high-end audio-visual equipment, electrical components, and may work at heights using lifts and ladders. Multiple hotel locations may be involved. Irregular hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, are expected. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines set by ENCORE, based on individual hotels or the area.
