Overview: We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and talented Event Planner with exceptional people skills to join our events team. As the Event Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the events.

Now, If You Were To Come On Board As One Of Our Event Planners, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, associates and suppliers.
  • Hire, train and schedule associates and be actively involved in the development of service.
  • Ensure each Wedding function is well planned and prepared, successfully carried-out and financially sound.
  • Ensure specifications and requests of each Wedding event are communicated and executed down the channel effectively.
  • Identify and resolve event issues to minimize complications.

Role

Think you have what it takes to be our Event Planner? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:

  • Strong catering industry experience working within hotels or catering companies
  • Strong hands on and planning experience of the event planning process as well with weddings.
  • Well-rounded at all stages of: Client Management, Planning, Execution, Closure & Follow up)
  • Customer focused: a friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and work cooperatively with team members
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
