Job summary

Impark is seeking an Event Parking Supervisor for Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The role is seasonal and part-time, located at Bay Street, with shifts including evenings and weekends. You will oversee parking operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety and customer service standards at the venue.

Responsibilities include managing cash transactions, guiding guests to facilities, and daily site checks. A strong focus on teamwork and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide positive customer service experiences for Impark customers and clients.
  • Coordinate staffing and manage site staff.
  • Maintain site operations to Impark’s company standards.
  • Assist customers with meters and direct to parking facilities.
  • Process refunds and cash transactions/deposits.
  • Perform daily site inspections and equipment checks.
  • Maintain site system software and liaise with departments.
  • Report equipment servicing/repairs and contact contractors as needed.

Compensation: CA$22.00 / hour

Description

Position: Event Supervisor

Location: Scotiabank Arena

Shifts: Will Vary, including evenings and weekends

Hourly Rate: $20-$22/hour

The Event Supervisor ensures the safe and efficient parking of guest vehicles while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. This position is responsible for responding quickly to customers’ requests and providing caring interactions with all guests at their assigned location. The Event Supervisor works closely with fellow team members, the Account Manager, the Operations Manager, and/or the Shift Supervisor to ensure that quality and safety standards are met at all times, as well as adhering to state and local laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive customer service experiences for all Impark customers and clients
  • Ensure location is operated and maintained to Impark’s company standards
  • Assist customers with meters
  • Direct customers into parking facilities
  • Process refunds
  • Provide information to customers on long term parking options
  • Process cash transactions and deposits
  • Daily site inspections and equipment checks
  • Maintenance of site system software
  • Correspondence and communication with all company departments as needed.
  • Reporting and requesting of equipment servicing/repairs
  • Work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
  • Manage site staff
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
  • Wear assigned uniform
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to cover the entire site
  • Must be able to work outdoors through inclement conditions
Staff Supervision
  • Coordination of staffing for attended site based on regular manpower requirements and site activity.
  • Staff disciplinary action when required, including issuing of written warnings. Subsequent monitoring and follow up action, and participation in grievance/dismissal proceedings.
  • Monitoring of personnel to ensure compliance with company uniform and service standards.
  • Completion of paperwork related to staff hiring, transfer, termination, and hours worked.
Lot Maintenance/Set-Up
  • Regular review of the lot’s physical condition including landscaping, signage, surface, lighting, automated equipment, etc.
  • Initiation of work orders deal with any necessary maintenance or improvements ensuring that necessary coding information is provided for accounting purposes and capital expenditure items are approved as needed.
  • Liaison with contractors, maintenance department, equipment suppliers, and Landlord/Property Manager during site set-up
  • Ensure that all accounting and contract information is distributed to ensure appropriate internal set up of site.
  • Other duties as assigned.
