Job summary

Indigo Park Canada is seeking energetic Event Hosts – Flaggers to help manage traffic and warmly welcome guests during arena events in Vancouver. You’ll stand outdoors, communicate clearly, and assist guests with parking options while keeping traffic flowing safely.

Ideal candidates have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong English, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This is a dynamic, outdoor role requiring physical activity and a friendly, professional presence

Responsibilities

• Flag and direct vehicles at entrances, exits, and throughout the lot.
• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and inform them of parking options and availability.
• Keep traffic flowing safely and efficiently during busy events.
• Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility or Senior Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, or other issues to the Facility or Senior Manager.
• Maintain a positive and visible presence throughout your shift.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Flag and direct vehicles at entrances, exits, and throughout the lot
• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and inform them of parking options and availability
• Keep traffic flowing safely and efficiently during busy events
• Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility or Senior Manager
• Communicate debris, spills, or other issues to the Facility or Senior Manager
• Maintain a positive and visible presence throughout your shift

Working Conditions:

• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, and twisting
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as required
