Job description

Are you a detail-driven multitasker with a passion for planning unforgettable events? We’re looking for an energetic Event Coordinator to support our Marketing team with everything from organizing conferences and webinars to managing promotional inventory and tracking budgets. You'll ensure that our master Canadian marketing schedule and event tracking documents are updated regularly. This role also keeps our sales leads moving by following up after events and supporting ongoing marketing efforts. What You’ll Do :

  • Assist in planning and executing Yardi events from start to finish, including logistics coordination and materials sourcing.
  • Support either large-scale corporate events (e.g., conferences and forums) or a high volume of smaller trade show events.
  • Communicate with decision-makers to align event details and expectations.
  • Provide administrative support by coordinating monthly meetings, reconciling corporate credit card expenses, entering budget data, managing marketing spreadsheets, and handling various additional tasks as needed.

Who You Are :

  • Two or more (2+) years of experience in event planning.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM systems, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within Canada and the U.S.

    Ideal to Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • One or more (1+) years of experience in the hospitality industry.
