What qualifications and skills do I need to meet your requirements?

Working collaboratively with team members and other business units, CREB’s Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery on all aspects of event planning and execution as well as space activation.

Some key responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinate events, which may include handling registration and RSVPs, venue and catering communications, volunteer recruitment, set up and take down, organizing vendor contacts, coordinating between CREB departments, sourcing rentals, logistics and deliveries, IT requirements, etc.
  2. Conceptualize, plan, and execute various CREB Campus events and member engagement strategies throughout the year to activate the Campus space and encourage member involvement.
  3. Work collaboratively with the Event Planner to determine event objectives, audience, format, scope and budget, as directed.
  4. Work collaboratively with the Communication Services team on event communications and graphic design requirements.
  5. Generate event activation and logistic ideas and prepare event proposals.
  6. Evening and/or weekends are required for some events.
  7. Physical labour may be required, lifting up to 50 lbs.
