The Role

As an Event Cook, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to manage and coordinate kitchen production for catered events and weddings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing dishes according to established recipes and procedures
  • Collaborating with event team leads to execute culinary aspects of all catered events & weddings
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces
  • Ensuring food quality and presentation meet standards and dishes are prepared and served on time
  • Communicating with Front of House staff to ensure seamless integration of culinary elements with service and ambiance
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring the kitchen complies with health codes
  • Working with the kitchen team to complete orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Assisting with kitchen tasks such as prepping ingredients, washing dishes, and cleaning equipment
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the farm's kitchen food production through additional responsibilities and projects
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications for Success
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and procedures
  • The ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and excellence in all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, managing tasks and priorities well
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the Events department
  • A passion for food and a desire to learn and improve continuously
