WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Community Engagement & Events:
- Develop and maintain an events calendar to support the markets in which we operate.
- Attend and lead event execution, providing detailed follow-up reports.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to enhance the resident experience.
- Manage vendor relationships, including file organization, payments, and reporting.
- Coordinate with vendors to facilitate branded promotional materials, signage, event-related goods and services, and digital collateral for field teams.
- Evaluate and manage local advertising and sponsorship campaign opportunities, documenting findings and overseeing vendor relationships.
Campaign Management:
- Develop and implement resident contesting initiatives, including the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supporting collateral.
- Establish processes and tracking structures for internal contesting, manage execution, and provide regular reporting on performance.
Partnerships:
- Conduct research and outreach to identify and engage potential partners.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships to develop programs and initiatives that enhance the resident experience.
- Manage partner relationships, including documentation, payments, and reporting, to ensure smooth operations and accountability.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance marketing initiatives and processes.
- Research, propose, test, and analyze new event strategies to drive engagement and effectiveness.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of event planning experience, with a demonstrated ability to execute and manage events effectively.
- 2+ years working on a Marketing team or marketing-adjacent experience.
- Project Management experience considered an asset.
- Proven ability to generate creative ideas for events, contests, and campaigns that resonate with different audiences.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience and/or basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be considered assets.
- Demonstrable experience working with CRMs or other automation/project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Yardi, MailChimp) would be considered an asset.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and a vehicle in good working order and be willing to travel up to 5 days in a given week, depending on the needs of the role.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to work cross-functionally with teams across different departments and locations.
- The ability to anticipate and effectively communicate needs.
