Job Description

Our Bartenders take pride in their food, wine, and spirit knowledge. They build relationships with guests and are often recognized by name. They display natural showmanship, have excellent communication skills, and an eye for detail. A Bartender receives beverage orders and prepares drinks efficiently, maintaining all O&B standards. They also communicate beverage descriptions and modifications to team members to ensure guests receive their requested beverages.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items to make recommendations
• Promptly receive drink orders and pour beverages according to O&B standards
• Present beverages clearly and organized at the service bar pick-up area
• Communicate beverage descriptions, specials, and information to guests and team members
• Set up and dismantle the bar area, dishwasher, and cappuccino machine
• Stock and maintain all bar products, including mis en place
• Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
• Count and inventory beverages and supplies; assist with inventory ordering
• Be aware of any special requests, including guest allergies
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of serving and bartending experience in a similar environment
• Smart Serve Certification is required
• High attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and sales ability
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of product knowledge, including wine, spirits, and cocktails
• Ability to maintain professional urgency and momentum
