Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented Part-Time Server to join our hospitality team in Canada. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.

Our busy banquet and catering department offers evening and weekend hours, with casual dayshifts available. As a server you will use the POS system, maintain clean dining areas, and collaborate with the Banquet & Catering team both on and off site.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
• Present menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
• Prepare bills and process payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with Banquet and Catering setups and takedowns
• work with the Banquet & Catering team during service both on and off site
