Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg. This term, in-person role supports designated patients with practical nursing services, prescribed treatments, and discharge coordination.

The LPN will work under the Manager of Health Services, with evenings and weekends shifts, and a 0.35 FTE allocation. CPR, IV therapy, and Manitoba CLPNM registration are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program required.
• Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) required.
• Certification in IV Therapy; IV Medication Administration.
• CPR Training requirements as per Employer policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients.
• Administer prescribed medical treatments and coordinate patient care.
