Job summary

Lantic Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the evening shift at our Toronto facility. You will organize and coordinate production and maintenance activities, support staff execution, and respond to downtime emergencies while upholding OHSA, GMP, and food safety standards.

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Supply Chain, you will drive continuous improvement, oversee maintenance efforts, and lead a team to meet production objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a food production leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Experience managing personnel, with unionized environment a plus.
• Proficient in GMP, HACCP, and food safety programs.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Effective communication and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to lead during emergencies and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan labour and training to meet facility objectives.
• Apply quality policies, GMPs and SOPs rigorously.
• Ensure sanitation of production equipment and work areas.
• Coordinate with Scheduler on daily production plan.
• Monitor outputs against objectives and take corrective actions.
• Develop and improve plant activities within PDCA framework.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and address equipment effectiveness.
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Facilitate department team meetings.
