Now Hiring : Evening Shift CNC Lathe & Mill Operators – Full-Time, Permanent

Location : South Edmonton

Schedule : Monday to Thursday 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM (40 hrs/week)

Wage : $28 – $35 / hr (depending on experience)

Status : Permanent, Full-Time + Full Benefits & Flex Credits

We are seeking experienced CNC operators with strong setup skills for our growing evening shift team. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment and possess the ability to perform full machine setups, not just operation.

Positions Available:

• 4 CNC Lathe Operators
• 2 CNC Mill Operators

Responsibilities:

• Perform full machine setups
• Hold tolerances from ±.005" to ±.020", with occasional ±.002"
• Assist with offline programming using MasterCam or Fusion 360 (preferred)
• Work proactively and dependably with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and/or mills
• Solid understanding of FANUC controls
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with G-code and basic conversational programming
• Proven ability to perform setups independently
• Knowledge of safe machining practices and quality control
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training is an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Summary:

This role is intended for experienced machinists ready to take full ownership of their setups and responsibilities. We are not recruiting entry-level staff at this time.
