Job summary

Brookes Westshore School is seeking a part-time Evening Housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness of the campus, including classrooms, dorms, bathrooms, common areas and dining hall, with laundry duties as needed.

The role follows Health and Safety protocols and offers a schedule of Sunday–Thursday 7:00pm–11:00pm, with pay at $21.00/hour plus 4% in lieu, plus benefits and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a housekeeper.
• Capable of lifting 35 lbs.
• Can work cooperatively with school staff.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Communicates respectfully, clearly and effectively.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• First Aid and WHMIS certificates an asset.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors.
• Cleaning the dining hall after use, including mezzanine areas.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms.
• Laundering bedding and clothes for boarding students.
• Any other cleaning needs that may arise.

Part-time Evening Housekeeper

Brookes Westshore School is currently looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper works to ensure the cleanliness of the campus and follows Health and Safety Protocols.

Position Summary

The housekeeper is responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties that include maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, dorm rooms, bathrooms, common areas and dining hall, as well as doing laundry.

Schedule Details

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 7:00pm-11:00 pm

Rate Of Pay And Benefits

• $21.00 an hour plus 4% in lieu
• 2 weeks vacation

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• vacuuming, dusting and washing floors
• cleaning the dining hall after use, along with the mezzanine areas
• cleaning and sanitizing all bathrooms
• laundering bedding and clothes for boarding students
• any other cleaning needs that may arise from time to time
