Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a Parts Person for our Peterbilt dealership to assist customers, provide pricing information, and process online orders.

You will manage parts inventory, support warehouse operations, and collaborate with the Parts Manager to ensure accurate shipping and stock. Evening shift is 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, with opportunities to grow within a solid, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
• Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
• Experience in the heavy duty truck, fabrication or manufacturing industry is an asset.
• Effective customer service and ability to build partnerships with customers.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as required by operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and materials in warehouse and yard.
• Locate parts, ship to customers and branches.
• Assist branch service technicians as required.
• Place inventory stock orders and adjust inventory/bins.
• Document and report shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock data.
• Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
