Golden Life’s Ocean Front Village in Courtenay, BC, is hiring a Housekeeping Aide for part-time evening shifts (0.58 FTE). You will follow daily cleaning schedules for common areas, assist with laundry, and respond to Life Line calls while maintaining safety and courtesy with residents.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in a related field.
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.

Responsibilities

• Performs all task as outlined on the daily cleaning schedules for common areas.
• May be required to assist with laundry
• Responds to tenant Life Line calls
• Organizing and prioritizing workload is an essential part of this position.
• Operates in a safe manner and reports any present or potential health and safety hazards to the Community Manager.
• Interacts with residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ensures exterior doors are secured and locked
• Must be capable of lifting up to 20 lbs.
