Job summary

Oxford Learning Stoney Creek is seeking part-time teacher-tutors to provide interactive coaching for students in Grades 9-12 science and math. The role requires availability Monday to Thursday evenings and some Saturdays.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, be a post-secondary student, or have relevant certifications. Responsibilities include teaching multiple students, following Oxford Learning methodologies, and completing daily communication updates.

Qualifications

• Some experience teaching or tutoring math and science at the Grade 9-12 level.
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at different skill levels.
• Deliver in-person instruction following Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates.
