Job summary

Peak Toolworks is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist for our Montérégie facility. The role involves complete setup and operation of CNC mills to recondition, modify, and manufacture profile tools, carbide tooling, and related components per drawings and OEM specs.

The ideal candidate will have solid machining experience, strong CNC setup capabilities, and adeptness at blueprint interpretation. This is a full-time, on-site position offering stable evening shift work with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC milling machine setup and operation.
• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of speeds, feeds, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
• Experience with carbide tooling and reconditioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to drawings and programs.
• Recondition, modify, or manufacture carbide tooling and related components.
• Load, verify, and modify CNC programs; troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure tolerances.
• Operate manual milling machines and lathes as needed.
• Complete production, inspection, tooling, and maintenance documentation.
