Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided products, tools and procedures
• Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, windows and cleaning and moving furniture and equipment
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and be in uniform, dependable and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Communicate in English

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required
• Will provide on-the-job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Experience with professional janitorial services, office complexes, hotels, hospitals or schools is a plus
• The ability to be flexible, work in a fast-paced and multi-task environment is a must
• Must be dependable, punctual and contribute to a positive team environment
• Must be able to communicate in English

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead/forward; must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Compensation

Compensation: $11/hour
