Job summary

A leading facility maintenance provider in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking an Evening Cleaner for part-time work, Monday to Friday from 4pm to 10pm. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, washrooms, and offices, along with garbage disposal. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail and prior cleaning experience is preferred. A Criminal Background Check is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to clean and maintain all areas as required.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and supplies is an asset.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping).
• Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, and lunchrooms.
• Empties and cleans garbage cans.
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors.

General Description : A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.

Schedule

Monday to Friday – Part Time - 4pm to 10pm

Responsibilities

• Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
• Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
• Empties and cleans garbage cans
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
• Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
• Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
• Additional duties may be required from time to time.
