Job summary

McDaniel in Calgary, an international oil and gas consulting firm, is seeking an Evaluation Engineer to support international projects and growth outside North America.

You will forecast well performance, analyze data, and evaluate reserves and assets, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. 0–5 years of petroleum engineering experience, strong communication, Excel/PowerPoint skills, and willingness to work on site in Calgary are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of petroleum engineering experience.
• Problem solving mentality and desire to understand the 'why' and 'how' of complex issues.
• Ability to work well within an integrated team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for a suite of audiences (technical and business).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to register with APEGA.
• Preference will be given to those that can speak and write Spanish fluently.
• Willing to work in-person from our Calgary office.
