Position Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with key stakeholders of varying technical ability and subject matter expertise
• Work closely with the development team to decide where to build automated and manual tests, develop/create test data, construct and execute exploratory, system, regression, migration, back-end, and user acceptance tests and determine whether to create automation frameworks
• Identify automatable test cases and reduce regression test workload
• Build custom automation scripts to test repetitive tasks, create test data or regression test high value test cases
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Design test approach, Develop Test Strategies and Plans
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing
• Monitor and track bug resolution efforts
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 2+ years of ETL Testing experience
• 2 + years reading and writing SQL Queries
• 2 to 5+ years’ experience with relational databases with a good knowledge of SQL Scripting, database structures, principles and design theories is a must have
• Experience working in Agile / Lean delivery teams
  
  

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Banking management Industry exp. is a plus
• Technical Leadership exp. is a plus and will be prioritized
