Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain ETL processes with AWS Glue to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
  • Enhance data pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop suitable ETL solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure smooth operation, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Document ETL processes and offer training to team members as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in ETL and cloud data engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an ETL Specialist or similar role, with a focus on AWS Glue.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with AWS Glue, including Glue Studio, Glue DataBrew, and Glue ETL jobs.
  • Knowledge of other AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Athena.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PySpark) and SQL is a plus.
