Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, and/or DBA.
• Expert knowledge of data types, data objects, and Entity Relationship Diagrams.
• Experience developing data pipelines and transforming unstructured data.

Job description

• Develop a data pipeline to extract, load, and transform (ELT) legacy data to future state solution

• Implement data mappings from legacy systems to future state solutions and associated transformation requirements

• Implement solutions to transform unstructured data into structured data

• Assist with assessment of data quality

• Develop scripts to cleanse data

• Document data models, as required

• Assist with creation of test cases

• Assist with implementation planning

• Provide post-implementation support

• Additional responsibilities as required by the Project Manager

• Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or similar post-secondary education

• 10+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, and/or Database Administrator (DBA)

• Expert knowledge of data types, data objects, and Entity Relationship Diagrams

• Expert knowledge of SQL

• Experience developing data pipelines

• Experience with data migration, data transformation, and data cleansing of structured and unstructured data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
