Job summary

Anthem Properties Group in Calgary is seeking an estimating wizard to join our growing team. You will help price residential projects, manage budget outputs, and maintain documentation systems with accuracy.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Sales, Construction, Interior Design and Design departments, while building professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors. NEWSTAR experience and 1 year in a similar role are valued.

Qualifications

• Newstar experience in estimating and budgeting.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar role; bonus for single family housing.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be engaged in daily operations of the estimating team.
• Manage output of job files, budget production and documentation systems.
• Promote professional relationships with sub-contractors and vendors.
• Stay current with changes and innovations within the construction industry.
• Support Sales, Construction, Interior Design and Design departments to facilitate workflows.
• Complete pricing requests and requests for extras and options for internal teams.
• Assist in the maintenance and updating of the price book and of housing specs and scopes of work.
• Assist in job preparation including preliminary pricing.
• Issue purchase orders and request for quotes in alignment with the construction schedule.
• Support continuous improvement of procedures and software initiatives for maintaining efficiency.
