Job summary

Anthem Properties is seeking an estimating professional to join its Calgary team. You will forecast costs, prepare estimates, and support a collaborative group across Sales, Construction, Interior Design and Design departments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication, and ongoing improvement of estimating processes within a growing residential portfolio.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in a similar role.
• Budgeting, cost tracking, and purchase orders in residential construction.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Team spirit and collaboration are valued.
• Familiarity with NEWSTAR system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engaged in daily operating activities of the estimating team.
• Manage output of job files, budget production and documentation systems.
• Promote professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors via clear communication.
• Stay current with changes and innovations within the construction industry.
• Support Sales, Construction, Interior Design and Design departments to facilitate internal workflows.
• Complete pricing requests and requests for extras for internal teams.
• Assist in maintaining price book and housing specs and scopes of work.
• Assist in job preparation including preliminary pricing.
• Issue purchase orders and requests for quotes aligned with construction schedule.
• Support ongoing improvements of procedures and software initiatives for efficiency.

You are
