Chandos Construction in Mississauga is seeking a commercial/institutional estimator to join our employee-owned team. You’ll develop pricing, read drawings, and analyze bids across multiple building scopes.

Formación

• Two or more years of commercial/institutional construction estimating experience.
• Experience with a general contractor and exposure to multiple building scopes.
• Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Comfortable with take-offs, trade pricing, bid analysis, and estimate preparation.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of commercial/institutional construction estimating experience.
• Experience with a general contractor and exposure to multiple building scopes.
• Strong ability to read drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Comfortable with take-offs, trade pricing, bid analysis, and estimate preparation.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating software.
• Organized and able to perform under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptions.
• Eager to learn, take ownership, and grow into increasingly complex estimates.
