Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Inc. in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking an Intermediate Estimator to support a new manufacturing program, on-site in Halifax.

You will interpret client specs, develop work scopes, estimate hours and resources, and coordinate RFQs with the Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry and solid software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or Red Seal Journeyman certification in a relevant industrial Skilled Trade nice to have.
• 4-7 years of experience as an estimator in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry projects
• Strong proficiency with engineering, estimating, or drafting software, and a solid understanding of technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience in contract negotiation and familiarity with commercial and government contract terms and conditions.
