An established industry player is seeking a general assistant for their busy Estates Department in Chilliwack. The position involves preparing files, opening client files, and following up with banks, providing a supportive environment for training and development. We are currently seeking a general assistant to support our busy Estates Department. This in-office position is located at our Chilliwack office and is available immediately. It may be suitable for Practicum Students, newly graduated Legal Administrative Assistants, or individuals with general professional office experience, even without legal background. The role may also appeal to experienced legal assistants seeking to re-enter the legal industry after a break.
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
You will report directly to a Senior Paralegal and other Legal Assistants, providing an excellent environment for ongoing training and development.
The ideal candidate will be mature, detail-oriented, possess strong communication and writing skills, work well in a team, and have excellent computer skills, especially in our increasingly paperless practice.
