Estate Planning Paralegal

The Estate Planning Paralegal is a permanent opportunity with a primarily onsite schedule.

Responsibilities:
If you are passionate about estate planning and thrive in a role where you take charge of client interactions, anticipate needs, and ensure every detail is handled seamlessly, then this opportunity is for you.

1. Own the client experience – act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the estate planning and administration process, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and a top-tier experience.
2. Lead client meetings with confidence, including document signings, funding discussions, and follow-ups, ensuring clients fully understand their plans.
3. Manage estate planning, probate, and trust administration cases from start to finish with little to no direction.
4. Draft base, advanced, and estate administration matters using WealthCounsel and internal templates.
5. Own Deed and LLC drafting, filing, and recording processes.
6. Funding client's estate plans.
7. Preparing clients' estate planning portfolio binders.
8. Creating diagrams and overviews of clients' estate plans.
9. Assisting attorneys with high-net-worth and complex estate planning matters.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong emphasis on client relations.
2. Skilled in creating and presenting to clients.
3. ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired.
4. Estate Planning, WealthCounsel, and WealthDocx experience are bonuses.
5. Strong ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and confidently to clients.
6. Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference.
7. Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar.
