The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach ESL 1113, What’s the Rule? Grammar at the Beginner Level, at the Main Campus in Ottawa. The course runs Tuesdays 13:00-14:30 and Thursdays 11:30-13:00, in-person, for 39 hours of work.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in TESL or a related field and have at least two years of university ESL teaching experience. Familiarity with teaching technology is expected; retroactive wage adjustments apply with collective

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in teaching English as a second language, or a discipline relevant to English as a second language teaching.
• Two years of experience teaching ESL at the university level, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software and technologies relevant to teach English as a second language.
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
