For this exciting position, we are specifically targeting students who have a background in XXs. If you are not currently located in the area of this co-op position, you must be willing to either commute or relocate to the surrounding area for the entire duration of the co-op term. You must also currently be a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the co-op term (you will also be returning to the post-secondary institution once the co-op is completed). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Salary Range: $4,000 - $5,100 / Month
Salary depends on academic progress and prior co-op experience.
Responsibilities
  • Be a safety leader, adhering to safety and environmental rules and procedures
1. Sustainability Report Development and ESG Assessments:
- Support the development of the Annual Sustainability Report and Reporting Index (drafting, assurance, proofing)
- Conduct gap assessments against standards and frameworks (GRI, SASB, ISSB, ESRS) and support UNGC reporting
2. Data Quality:
- Update sustainability databooks and ESG analyst tools
- Develop expertise in Bloomberg Terminal for ESG insights
- Collaborate to improve data quality and transparency
3. ESG Reporting Integration:
- Support integration of financial and non-financial information, assessing ESG risks and opportunities
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a master’s program or final year of undergraduate studies in Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Environmental Sciences, Business, or related fields
  • Attention to detail with strong data management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic project management skills
  • Adaptability to evolving sustainability reporting practices
  • Effective team and independent work skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations is an asset
  • Spanish-speaking ability is an asset
$74,000 - $92,000 per year
