Job summary

TD Bank Group in Toronto is seeking an Manager for ESG Financial Reporting to lead updates to accounting and financial disclosure policies for ESG matters. You will collaborate with Sustainability & Corporate Citizenship, ESRM, and lines of business to implement TD’s ESG Disclosure Strategy in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experienced manager in financial or risk reporting for a bank.
• Ability to connect regulatory and policy requirements with underlying data and process to recommend automated solutions.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Demonstrated organizational awareness and ability to manage relationships across multiple businesses and tech groups.
• Experience using AI tools such as CoPilot for business intelligence, automation and processing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support advocacy on evolving regulatory frameworks for sustainability-related disclosures affecting financial reporting.
• Keep Chief Accountant executives informed of key sustainability disclosure developments.
• Assess current sustainability disclosure practices and recommend changes for controls and governance.
• Review TD's Annual Sustainability Report for regulatory alignment and best practices.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Working Groups with Enterprise Risk Management, Sustainability and Legal partners.
• Support regulatory reporting efforts such as G-SIB and subsidiary governance reporting.
