Sustainable Fitch, a Fitch Solutions Company, seeks an Analyst in Toronto to integrate ESG considerations into credit analysis and research. You will contribute to sustainability assessments, deliver focused written analyses, and collaborate with global teams to monitor and interpret ESG trends impacting investments.

The role emphasizes rigorous data analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment within a hybrid work framework.

Formación

• Degree in a discipline with a technical background related to environmental science, social risk or governance-themed disciplines, or economics/business/finance.
• 1–3 years' experience in sustainability and knowledge of current sustainability market themes and regulation, plus international taxonomies for sustainable activities.
• Basic financial literacy; capable of working with data.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; detail oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; self-starter with time management.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and apply Sustainable Fitch's analytical methodologies and assess sustainability impact across a range of financial/non-financial activities.
• Carry out and deliver high-quality, timely written analysis on sustainability products with well-constructed arguments and verified data.
• Monitor a portfolio of entities on a daily basis and interact with colleagues globally to share knowledge.
• Keep up to date with global sustainability trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
