Job summary

ONroute is seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst to assess and enhance sustainability initiatives across its Ontario plazas. You will analyze environmental, social, and governance data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support decision-making and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Progressing towards completion of college or university degree in related field.
• Detail oriented with conceptual and critical thinking skills, capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
• Ability to multitask, work independently as well as in groups
• Cope well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Focus on waste process conformity and reduction in landfill, improving diversion rates
• Net zero – managing our pathway to net zero, including working with internal & external stakeholders to reduce the impact of our scope 3 carbon footprint. This includes SBTi ownership, in line with international best practice
• Energy surveys – turning surveys into actions and working with the internal PM function to roll out energy reduction strategies in conjunction with lifecycle plant and equipment management
• Permanent ownership of annual ESG reporting
• BOMA certification process and renewal ownership
• Leading, with Marketing team Support – Our ESG communication stream, to garner & grow internal buy in
• ISO accreditation; I have aspirations of achieving ISO status in order to grow our reputation
• Devise ways to implement ONroute ESG policies
• Implement ESG performance tracking and reporting
• Contribute towards Net Zero strategy using the Climate Risk in Real Estate Model (CRREM)
• Record steps taken to generate an "ESG Manual"
