OXFORD HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT

TITLE: ESEA Program / MTSS Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Maine Department of Education Administrator Certification
  2. Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills
  3. Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience

REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools

JOB GOAL: coordination of ESEA Program, including Titles I, IV

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: (.5 FTE)

  1. Supports the District’s mission and goals.
  2. Promotes a positive environment and interacts in a positive manner with colleagues, parents, students, and visitors.
  3. Serves as the primary contact with the Maine DOE ESEA office.
  4. Designs, oversees and evaluates ESEA programming.
  5. Completes the ESEA Consolidated application and reports for Titles I, II and IV.
  6. Ensures that parents and teachers have involvement in program and application development.
  7. Assists principals in establishing and maintaining the Family School Compacts and Family Engagement Plans.
  8. Works with principals and leadership teams to develop and implement ESEA Schoolwide Plans and Tier III Plans.
  9. Assists principals in developing intervention systems to meet needs at each school.
  10. Coordinates with the Business Manager for fiscal development and reporting.
  11. Works with the Curriculum Director to develop ESEA projects based on Needs Assessment.
  12. Disseminates program information and ensures required notices are made.
  13. Serves as the Reading Recovery Site Coordinator.
  14. Designs and oversees summer programming at 5 elementary sites.
  15. Recognizes urgency; can distinguish between the urgent and important vs. merely urgent, and acts accordingly.
  16. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Negotiable

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Superintendent.
