Quik’s Farm Ltd, based in Chilliwack BC, is a family farm whose primary business is cut flower growing and processing. With over twenty acres of indoor and an additional thirty acres of seasonal outdoor growing space, the company prides itself in its unique vertical integration within the floriculture sector. Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, Lisianthus, Sunflowers, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base across North America.

We are a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to optimizing business processes and enhancing operational efficiency. To support our growth objectives, we are working to implement new ERP in our business. We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead our ERP implementation project from planning and design to selection and implementation. This position is a contract based, phased position spanning a 2-year period, with possible opportunity for permanent employment or extension pending development and requirements.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful ERP implementation.
  • Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design ERP solutions that align with organizational goals, while contributing to re-design of key processes to gain efficiencies.
  • Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate ERP systems and vendors, ensuring the chosen solution meets the company’s needs and budget.
  • Implementation: Lead the implementation phase, coordinating with a cross-functional project team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the ERP system.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users, to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Training and Support: Oversee methodical training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the ERP system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the ERP system post-implementation, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ERP Project Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their implementation processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $45.00 – $55.00 commensurate on experience.

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and Statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
