Position Summary

This position is responsible for administering, developing, configuring, and enhancing the organization’s ERP (Ellucian Banner) integrations. The successful candidate will connect and streamline data flow between the ERP system and other business applications, ensuring seamless system operation, data integrity, and ecosystem cohesion through non-ERP integration and development tools. The role involves utilizing technology to improve systems administration, security, and data analytics.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Create, configure, and manage Ellucian Banner integrations including Ethos SDK, solution APIs, Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, etc.
  2. Create, update, and maintain Banner Ethos Data Models, Banner Business Processes, and other Banner Data models.
  3. Develop and maintain workflows and system modifications across platforms or modules within the Ellucian Banner environment.
  4. Develop, maintain, and manage the content of Ellucian Experience for web and mobile platforms.
  5. Automate and orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring deployment, management, and scaling across environments, including creating, deploying, monitoring, and managing containers.
  6. Conduct thorough testing to ensure smooth and bug-free integration and development processes.
  7. Collaborate with departments to gather content requirements and ensure the intranet meets stakeholder needs.
  8. Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training for Ellucian Banner users.
  9. Manage user permissions and ensure system security.
  10. Monitor Banner environment performance and implement improvements as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in Ellucian Banner administration or development and 2 years of container administration experience.
  • OR an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Banner technology (e.g., Ethos), including diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Banner functionality, data integrity, and system performance.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data access and manipulation within Banner database.
  • Experience with web development.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships across departments.
  • Strong customer service, conflict resolution, tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality skills.
  • Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
