Job summary

University of Lethbridge seeks a Finance System Implementation Manager to lead ERP modernization of finance modules. You will work with cross-functional teams to plan, design, test, and implement processes that improve controls and efficiency.

The role requires a finance/IT background, 5+ years in large system implementations, and experience with Banner/PeopleSoft/Workday. A CPA or PMP is advantageous; criminal record check is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field.
Minimum five years leading or supporting large ERP implementation projects.
Experience with Banner (Ellucian), PeopleSoft, Workday or similar systems.
Familiarity with data migration, process redesign, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Support ERP modernization planning, timelines, and resource allocation.
Analyze finance processes and redesign to fit the new ERP system.
Coordinate with IT, vendors, and consultants on financial modules integration.
Oversee data management, cleanup, retention, and migration activities.
Lead testing, QA, and ensure requirements and compliance are met.
Develop training materials and provide user training and updates.
Act as change agent, promoting readiness and user adoption across teams.
