Job summary

Desjardins Capital Markets in Montréal is seeking an Equity Research Associate to join the Equity Research team. You will work with an equity analyst on publishing company and industry research reports and comments.

You will assist in building and maintaining financial models, databases, and industry information, as well as generating research notes and providing analytical support. French fluency and strong Excel/Bloomberg skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analyzing financial statements and creating financial models in Excel.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Advanced computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg; ability to source data from the Internet.
• Knowledge of VBA or programming.
