Job summary

North America Construction LTD is seeking a reliable Equipment Yard Labourer to support our Head Office operations in Morriston, Ontario. You will assist with organizing formwork, equipment, tools, and materials, and perform inventory, deliveries, inspections, and general labour duties on construction projects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while complying with WHMIS and Working

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of workplace safety and the safe operation of power tools.
• Valid WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications.
• Construction, formwork, carpentry, or equipment yard experience is an asset.
• Experience operating telehandlers, skid steers, or similar equipment is an asset.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sort, clean, organize, and prepare formwork components for construction projects.
• Accurately count and verify quantities of materials, formwork, and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any deficiencies.
• Load, unload, move, pack, ship, and handle materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
• Operate equipment such as telehandlers and skid steers in a safe and responsible manner.
• Operate power tools safely and responsibly.
• Perform site preparation activities and support construction operations, including traffic control as required.
• Perform general labour duties as required.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including provincial and federal health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment at all times.

We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Equipment Yard Labourer to support our Head Office operations in Morriston, ON (just south of Guelph). The successful candidate will assist with the organization and preparation of formwork, equipment, tools, and materials used on our construction projects. Responsibilities include inventory management, receiving deliveries, equipment inspections, and general labour duties as required. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
