A leading heavy equipment company in Ontario is seeking a Sales Representative to manage sales of new equipment and build strong customer relationships. This position requires an undergraduate degree in engineering or marketing and 5-7 years of experience in the mining or industrial industry. The role offers a base salary plus commissions and requires excellent sales and communication skills. The successful candidate will be committed to safety and excellence in all tasks.
At SMS Equipment, our Sales Representatives are responsible for managing sales of new equipment within the domestic sales function. They contact assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products and services within a designated geographic territory or by customer type. The role focuses on personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting in key markets. This position is located in Etobicoke, ON.
This position offers a base salary plus commissions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing and building strong customer relationships to enable ongoing representation, reinforced by sales programs and communication with other company divisions.
Meeting personal sales targets as established.
Participating in special projects as assigned.
