Overview

Join our team as an Equipment Sales Representative in Timmins, ON, and take your sales career to the next level. With a base salary of $48,000 plus commission — and a guaranteed additional $48,000 in your first year — you’ll have strong earning potential from day one. Working Monday to Friday (5x2), you’ll represent industry-leading equipment and build trusted relationships with customers across a growing territory. With supportive leadership, hands-on training, and the tools to succeed, you’ll be set up from the start to thrive in a role where your results are rewarded.

Responsibilities
  • Represent SMS Equipment in all business transactions with professionalism and integrity
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant practices
  • Study the market, plan prospecting activities, and maintain accurate client records
  • Identify customer needs and recommend equipment solutions that align with their goals
  • Prepare proposals, communicate pricing and terms, and support post-sale follow-up
  • Collaborate with credit and product support teams to ensure seamless customer service
  • This role does require you to travel throughout your assigned territory. Overnight travel may be required.
What You Bring
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial or heavy equipment sales experience
  • Familiarity with large construction equipment and related industries
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
  • Valid Class 5 / G driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed
