Job summary

Clearway is seeking a skilled equipment operator for projects across the Lower Mainland. You will work on trenching, pipe-laying and back-filling while upholding safety and quality.

Location is job-site based; you must be legally eligible to work in Canada and ready to join Operating Engineers Local 115.

You will operate 320–349 sized excavators, 930–950 sized wheel loaders, and D3–D8 bulldozers, reading blueprints and ensuring on-site efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints.
• 1 year of operator experience in water, sanitary or storm systems.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; no work permit sponsorship available.
• Operators must become members of Operating Engineers Local 115.

Responsibilities

• Operate 320-349 sized excavators per job site requirements.
• Operate 930-950 sized wheel loaders as needed.
• Operate D3-D8 sized bulldozers and perform tasks safely.
• Read and interpret project blueprints and specs on site.

Location: Job Site located across the Lower Mainland.

While we are willing to train elements such as working with our proprietary shoring system, ideally you will have experience with trenching, pipe-laying, and back-filling / restoration. You should be comfortable operating one of the following:

• 320-349 Sized Excavators
• 930-950 Sized Wheel Loaders
• D3-D8 Sized Bull Dozers

Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints
• 1 year previous experience as an Operator, water, sanitary storm systems
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada - no work permit sponsorship is available for this position
• If not already, Operators will be required to become members of Operating Engineers Local 115
