Équipements Nordiques in Sept-Îles, QC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator. The candidate will interpret blueprints and specifications to plan operations, operate heavy machinery, and perform routine maintenance on site.

Strong reading of blueprints and safety compliance are essential for daily tasks. Required: Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience and 2–3 years of hands-on equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• On-site work at the physical location; no remote option.
• Ability to read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specs to plan methods or sequences.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specs to determine work requirements.
• Use ISO joystick controls and SAE patterns.
• Lubricate and maintain equipment as needed.
• Complete onboard logs and safety documentation.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Prepare accident reports and secure attachments.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment.
