Civil Construction Equipment Operator: 3+ years of experience

Our Oregon team is rapidly growing in the Boardman and Hermiston areas. We provide highly skilled teams for projects such as earthwork, underground utilities, wastewater ponds, reclamation, compressor pump stations, gas processing facilities, WWT plants, tilt-up concrete structures, substations, and mass concrete. Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as excavators, dozers, haul trucks, water trucks, etc., under supervision.
• Perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, digging, and site cleaning.
• Maintain and clean equipment and tools.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Inspect equipment/tools daily and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain cleanliness at the jobsite.
• Complete tasks efficiently and timely.
• Prepare construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeships are a plus.
• Experience operating motor graders, dozers, excavators, loaders, or skid steers.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Strong safety commitment.
• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

Work outdoors frequently, exposed to mechanical parts, vibration, wind, sun, rain, and cold weather.

Physical Requirements

• Lift heavy objects, stand, and walk for long periods.
• Perform strenuous labor under adverse conditions.
• Use manual dexterity and coordination.
